Job Summary

Eaton's AER MSD Mission System Division is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team at our Westminster, MD facility.

This is a premiere opportunity to work with a leading employer in aviation, space, and emergency response applications.

The starting hourly range for this position is $23.00-$24.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections on parts and products, including mechanical and visual inspections.
  • Work to approved inspection checklists, engineering drawings, purchase orders, work instructions, and specifications.
  • Utilize Non-Conforming Material Control process to document parts that do not meet specifications.
  • Ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with mechanical and visual inspection of machined parts and assemblies.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using business-class software in a professional employment setting.
  • Ability to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship.
  • Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Westminster, MD to be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited institution.
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
  • Advanced Part Quality Planning (APQP) knowledge.
  • First Article Inspection (FAI) AS9102 knowledge.
  • ASQ Mechanical Inspector Certification.
Skills
  • Ability to interpret Engineering Drawings, Workmanship Standards, Military and Federal Specifications, and basic GD&T.
  • Ability to interact with a wide variety of support personnel.
  • Computer, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; organization and time management skills.
