Position Details:

This position allows for a combination of onsite and flexible work arrangements, requiring a presence in the office for a few days each week. We also provide a comprehensive relocation package for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and communicate the strategic objectives and processes for Computing Interface Products Systems (CIPS).
  • Utilize your expertise to address challenges, establish goals for yourself and your team, and contribute to both immediate and long-term business objectives.
  • Conduct design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to engineering principles and business standards.
  • Oversee System and Subsystem Level Design requirements.
  • Define and manage interfaces across all subsystems to align with the overall system solution.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Project Manager to develop and implement design review processes.
  • Establish System Validation Plans, execute testing, and coordinate with Test Engineers to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Participate in technical and program reviews as a presenter or reviewer.
  • Take ownership of technical concepts, solutions, and engineering cost estimates for proposals.
  • Maintain awareness of technical trends to ensure quality excellence and responsiveness to customer needs.
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration with software, hardware, and testing teams to ensure project success.
  • Provide timely updates on significant issues or developments.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in design, implementation, integration, and testing within Avionics Engineering Systems or related fields.
  • This position requires access to technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions, and is limited to U.S. Citizens.
Preferred Skills:
  • Self-motivated with the ability to lead initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with systems such as A664, ARINC429, and IEEE1394.
  • Background in System Design and Validation involving Microprocessors.
  • Proficient in using test equipment and data manipulation tools.
  • Knowledge of Avionics Systems and Aerospace Operating Practices.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into software solutions.
  • Familiarity with requirements management and defect tracking tools.
  • Experience with System Testing Processes and Automation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in an Avionics Design Assurance Level A Environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and processes.
  • Customer Technical Interface experience.
  • Active Passport.

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship is necessary for this role.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
