Job Title: Developer in Test II

Expeditors is seeking a highly skilled Developer in Test II to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex automation and custom test frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automation and custom test frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Participate in the design and development of systems with a focus on quality and testability
  • Collaborate with quality assurance engineers to provide automation test strategies and tools for our technologies and systems
  • Perform quality assurance tasks such as test planning, test case generation, and feature testing
  • Act as a driver for progress in the team
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience working with object-oriented languages
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical quality assurance role
  • Experience working with databases and web application frameworks
  • Experience with reading and writing code (Java and Python preferred)
  • Experience working with test automation frameworks
  • Experience generating consensus among team members
  • Customer service-oriented attitude and top-notch time management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Agile methodologies, test automation, automation frameworks, and testing best practices
  • Familiarity with Java application development and Windows/Linux systems
  • BS in Computer Science or comparable work experience
  • Proficiency with troubleshooting and communicating technical issues
  • Proficiency in driving technical and process improvements
  • Proficiency with automation tools and writing automation tests
  • Familiarity with SQL and Behavior Driven Development/Test Driven Development experience
  • Experience with GIT or other versioning tool, IntelliJ, Kafka, Docker, any Webdriver tool
