Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant General Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a successful leader, ideally as an Assistant General Manager, Director of Operations, or Director of Rooms. A minimum of 3-5 years of hospitality experience is required, with Marriott Brand experience being a plus.

The Assistant General Manager will direct and coordinate activities of the hotel to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize its full potential with a balanced focus on people, product, and profit. The role will involve supervising all department heads, maintaining positive relations with staff, and ensuring a positive guest experience through quality and safety of the hotel product.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate activities of the hotel to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations
  • Supervise all department heads, with the exception of the Director of Sales and Marketing and the Director of Human Resources
  • Maintain positive relations with staff through timely and complete communication of all items concerning their areas of supervision
  • Analyze goals and action steps with each department head to achieve them within a set timeframe
  • Monitor progress and report achievements and problem areas to the General Manager
  • Ensure a positive guest experience through quality and safety of the hotel product
Requirements
  • Proven record as a successful leader, ideally as an Assistant General Manager, Director of Operations, or Director of Rooms
  • At least 3-5 years of hospitality experience, with Marriott Brand experience being a plus
  • College degree or any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from college
Compensation

The compensation for this position is $80,000.00/Yr. - $95,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
