We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Assembler to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform routine production assembly operations, adhering to industry standards and quality control measures.
  • Support the design, fabrication, and testing of new concepts and technology to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production processes.
  • Travel to other facilities as required to support production operations.

**Requirements:**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • 1+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics.
  • 1+ years of experience working with precision measuring tools.
  • 1+ years of experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards.
  • 1+ years of experience with machine shop processes.
  • Ability to lift at least 35 lbs safely and sit/stand for periods of time.

**Preferred Skills:**

  • Aerospace industry experience.
  • Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities data needed for defining delivery configurations.
  • Ability to differentiate production processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements.
  • Participation in the evaluation and qualification of materials, suppliers, equipment, technology, and processes.
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaboration to achieve common objectives.
  • Knowledge of the properties of metal and other common materials.
  • Complete knowledge of shop processes, including Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling, safety, calibration requirements, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD).
