Compensation Range
$89,670 - $111,324 Annually for the G02.2 level
$107,550 - $133,524 Annually for the G02.3 level

Position Overview

We are seeking a Graphic and Web Designer to develop captivating visuals for a variety of internal communication initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional creativity and strategic thinking, with a strong background in both print and digital design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce a range of visual materials including templates, brochures, newsletters, flyers, posters, illustrations, logos, and branding elements.
  • Maintain and update internal websites using Drupal and WordPress platforms.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to establish design objectives and ensure alignment with project specifications.
  • Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Provide guidance on design best practices and emerging trends to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, multimedia, animation, web design, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD) and content management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Additional Information

This position is hybrid, allowing for a combination of in-person and remote work. Candidates must be able to secure a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
