Immediate AAC Specialist Opportunity / School Setting / In-Person / Livermore

We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with expertise in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to partner with our current AAC Specialist in a school-based setting. Due to a higher than expected caseload, we need an additional expert to support our team and provide high-quality services to students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct district-wide AAC assessments to determine the appropriateness of AAC systems and devices for students.

- Provide device recommendations and train staff and caregivers on the implementation of AAC goals in the natural environment.

- Collaborate with the AAC/AT Department to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.

Requirements:

- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

- Current CA SLP License/Credential or Eligibility

- Fingerprint Background Clearance

- Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance
