Principal Software Engineer – Transmission Operations

The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) is seeking a **Principal Software Engineer** within the **Transmission Operations and Planning** division. - Assist area leads in strategizing software delivery.
- Oversee the development and implementation of products and services in partnership with various teams.
- Establish technical goals and ensure achievement of expected outcomes.
- Plan and supervise project timelines and financial resources.
- Coordinate activities to guarantee timely project delivery.
- Conduct investigations in technical or scientific domains.
- Proven experience in research, project oversight, and technology transfer.
- Background in leading software teams within Agile frameworks.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C/C#, and utilizing Git repositories.
- In-depth knowledge of power systems analysis software and associated fields.
- Understanding of software quality assurance and security protocols.
- Expertise in project management and proposal development.
- Experience in mentoring team members and conducting code evaluations.
- Capability to manage intricate projects and deliverables effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
