Role Summary

As an Outbound Associate I at our distribution center, you will be integral to the seamless execution of our outbound logistics operations. Utilizing an RF scan gun, you will ensure precise inventory management and fulfillment of orders. This role demands a commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols.

  • Achieve an average of 13 lines picked per hour while minimizing downtime between picks to no more than 5 minutes.
  • Employ an RF scan gun to accurately select products in accordance with order specifications.
  • Verify product numbers and quantities to ensure order precision.
  • Adhere to safety standards and procedures while operating equipment and handling merchandise.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace to enhance picking and storage efficiency.
  • Engage in inventory counts and support the management of warehouse inventory accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order progress and any challenges faced.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse environment, particularly in picking or material handling, is preferred.
  • Proficient in operating an electric pallet jack and RF scan gun.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand or walk for extended durations.
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
