Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Director of Emergency Services to lead our high-performing Emergency Department at Next Move Healthcare. This pivotal role ensures the delivery of exceptional patient care and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement solutions to address operational challenges, enhancing patient care and service delivery.
  • Departmental Management: Lead and participate in hospital and departmental committees, fostering interdepartmental collaboration and driving initiatives to improve patient experience and satisfaction.
  • Staff Development: Mentor and coach staff, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain rigorous adherence to healthcare regulations and safety standards, ensuring compliance across the department.
  • Performance Improvement: Develop and oversee performance improvement programs that align with the hospital's mission and healthcare standards.
  • Financial Management: Manage the department's budget, staffing, and resources efficiently to align with organizational goals.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain strong communication lines within the department and with external stakeholders.
  • Quality Improvement: Champion the development and implementation of emergency care standards and practices.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and BLS required.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a high-volume emergency department with proven outcomes in patient care. Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
