Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Services Associate to join our advisory team. This role will involve working closely with senior advisors to help clients achieve their financial goals, providing exceptional client service, and contributing to the team's objectives for sales growth, client retention, and customer service quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior advisors and the team to provide financial plans, advice, and reviews to assist clients in achieving their financial objectives.
  • Assist sales team members in delivering advice and services that meet client expectations.
  • Develop skills to perform basic functions within the sales team and step-in to perform duties when needed.
  • Support the creation of a team-based environment that builds trust with clients, generates referrals, and supports business growth.
Client Relationship Management
  • Work with the financial advisory team to actively manage client relationships, service, and WEG's planning-based standard of identity.
  • Assist the Financial Advisor during client meetings and with follow-up.
  • Analyze clients' current investments and insurance policies.
  • Prepare annual reviews as required by the team, utilizing the CRM system and Wealth Enhancement Group review system.
Financial Planning
  • Create financial plans for clients as required by the team.
  • Analyze clients' financial data in light of their financial goals.
  • Meet or call clients to obtain additional planning information or clarify/confirm information provided.
  • Work effectively and professionally with the Financial Planning department, if required.
Requirements
  • 4-year degree in business, finance, economics, or related field.
  • Advanced designation or working toward obtaining (CFP, CPA, MBA, etc.).
  • Series 7, 66 (BD/RIA), Series 65 (RIA Only), and Insurance Licenses.
  • 2+ years of experience within the wealth management industry.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills (both oral & written).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Engagement in the community.
