Donation Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Donation Attendant to join our team at the Ocotillo Store (Gilbert & Ocotillo) in Chandler, Arizona. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in providing an excellent customer and brand experience, promoting sales, and ensuring the efficient processing of donations.
Key Responsibilities:- Accept and process donations from customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Label and organize donations in the production room or sales floor.
- Provide receipts to donors and ensure accurate documentation.
- Identify and handle hazardous materials, providing disposal information to customers.
- Process sales tickets and sold signs for large items.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and organized production room and sales floor.
- Operate pallet jack and walkie stacker safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety rules.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
- Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.
