We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Donation Attendant to join our team at Alma School Store (Alma School & Ray). As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for leading an excellent customer and brand experience, promoting sales, and ensuring a seamless donation process.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to donors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Accurately label and process donations, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
- Offer receipts to donors and provide information on the donation process.
- Identify and handle hazardous materials, ensuring safe disposal and compliance with regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading donations, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
- Conduct daily safety inspections on company equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, supporting the overall success of the store team.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with donors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and donors.
- Ability to pass a forklift certification class and operate company equipment safely.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in customer service or a related field preferred.
