In this position, you will engage in PHY design efforts, collaborating closely with architecture, CAD, and logic design teams, playing a crucial role in delivering exceptional PHY designs.

Responsibilities:

As a senior IP Design/Implementation engineer, your duties will encompass all facets of IP. You will be tasked with generating gate-level netlists and various collateral for the physical design team, including lint checks, logic equivalence verification, static low power validation, Functional ECO, CDC, RDC, and facilitating collaboration between the front-end design team and the physical design team.

Key Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in IP design integration and implementation across multiple clock and power domains.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with tools such as RTL simulation, lint, logic equivalence, version control, synthesis, static timing analysis, CDC, and RDC for generating gate-level netlists and conducting various checks.
  • Hands-on experience collaborating with physical design teams.
  • In-depth understanding of VLSI design methodologies from RTL to sign-off, along with familiarity in programming languages such as Perl, Tcl, and shell scripts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience interacting with sub-block owners, physical design teams, and various engineering groups.
Education & Experience:

A BS degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one component of our comprehensive compensation package and is determined within a specified range. This allows for growth as you develop within your role. The base pay range for this position is between $166,600 and $296,300, with your base pay depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs, including eligibility for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and the option to purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
