Critical Care Registered Nurse

A Critical Care Registered Nurse at Baptist Health Care serves as an expert in evaluating patients, administering care, and recognizing complications. This role requires effective interpersonal communication with the critical care team and the use of advanced skills to care for critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and administer care to critically ill patients.
- Recognize complications and coordinate with the critical care team.
- Use effective interpersonal communication to collaborate with the critical care team.
- Provide education and support to patient families.
- Direct and guide patient care activities of ancillary personnel.
Qualifications:
- ASN degree or Nursing Diploma.
- One year of acute care experience.
- Current RN license in the State of Florida.
- BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association.
- NIH certification within 90 days of hire/transfer.
Working Conditions:
This role works under general supervision and may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required. The person in this position may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.
