Position Overview:
SYSTRA is looking for a dedicated Bridge Design Engineer to become a key member of our Infrastructure Group, addressing the challenges faced by our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute significantly to the design and execution of bridge projects
- Assist project management with budgeting, scheduling, and design tasks
- Ensure adherence to local and federal regulations
- Recommend process improvements for timely project completion
- Keep abreast of the latest industry standards and methodologies
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge design
- Proven experience with various bridge design projects
- Proficiency in design software such as LARSA 4D, Midas, SAP, and others
Desirable Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Structural Engineering
- Additional advanced qualifications
- California Professional Engineer (PE) certification
- Structural Engineer (SE) certification
- Experience in designing rail and high-speed rail bridges
