The External Affairs department plays a crucial role in securing contributed income through various channels, including annual appeals, corporate giving, and community outreach. We are seeking a motivated individual to assist in public relations and marketing efforts for the remainder of the year. This internship is approximately 15 hours per week and will run until the end of the year.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local media outlets
  • Create engaging social media content and manage online presence
  • Assist in event planning and execution
  • Maintain accurate records of media contacts and donor information
  • Proofread and edit promotional materials
Requirements
  • Current college student or recent graduate in journalism, public relations, communications, or related field
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud
Compensation
