Job Title: Drone Engineer

TETAC Incorporated is a defense contracting company that specializes in the development and fielding of unmanned system solutions. Our focus is on energetic payloads and integrating those payloads to unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

We are based in Monterey, California, and design and manufacture energetic payloads and unmanned systems to support our Department of Defense customers. Our environment is fast-paced to ensure that we are providing state-of-the-art solutions to our end users.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Drone Engineer to join our team in Monterey, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, prototyping, integrating, and testing Unmanned Systems and sub-system payloads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop Unmanned Systems and sub-system payloads
  • Integrate and test Unmanned Systems and sub-system payloads
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in the field
Requirements
  • BS/MS degree in Drone, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
  • Demonstrated familiarity with MIL-STD-1316 for fuze board compliance of energetic systems
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and ability to work independently
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
