About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our team at Rev, a leading provider of configurable software for billing, customer management, business management, payments, analytics, provisioning, and automation. As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the development of our products, ensuring they meet market demands and strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a clear and compelling product vision that aligns with the company's strategic goals and market demands.
  • Create and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it contains well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed product requirements, ensuring they are consistent with the product vision.
  • Work with development teams to plan and prioritize product releases, including defining scope, timelines, and feature sets.
  • Champion user-centric design principles and ensure the product provides an excellent user experience.
  • Act as a bridge between development teams and stakeholders, facilitating communication, and ensuring a shared understanding of product goals and priorities.
  • Define and communicate product requirements to the QA team and participate in the testing process to ensure the product meets quality standards.
  • Stay informed about market trends, customer feedback, and competition to make data-driven decisions and adapt the product strategy as needed.
  • Coordinate product launches and marketing strategies to maximize product visibility and success.
  • Establish mechanisms for collecting and analyzing feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve the product.
Requirements
  • 2+ years working in product management within a Software as a Service (SaaS) distribution model.
  • 2+ Years working with a PSA solution in a product, engineering or service capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering or related field.
  • Experience in agile software development methodology.
  • Deep understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Proven track record of taking ideas from concept to launching and iterating thereafter.
  • Understands how to use various techniques to conduct product discovery.
  • Ability to communicate clearly via written and verbal methods.
  • Worked in and thrives in fast-paced small business/startup environments.
  • Relevant industry certification such as CSPO or SAFe POPM.
