Current Opening: Custodial Staff Member
Compensation: $14.50 per hour
Our custodial team comprises proactive and hands-on individuals tasked with performing cleaning and minor maintenance duties to uphold the facility's overall condition and its surrounding areas. Key responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and executing small repairs.
Key Responsibilities- Execute general cleaning and maintenance tasks in compliance with local building and fire regulations.
- Prepare, transition, and dismantle fields and courts as needed.
- Ensure that entrances, grounds, and parking areas are maintained in a clean, clear, and safe condition, including:
- Property and grounds maintenance
- Grass trimming and edging
- Seasonal snow and debris clearance
- Maintain accurate checklists, records, and reports regarding:
- Change room sanitation
- Window cleaning
- Restroom cleaning checklist
- Shower sanitation checklist
- Parking lot and property cleanliness checklist
- Conduct vacuuming, auto scrubbing, waxing, and buffing in accordance with established floor care protocols.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks as necessary.
- Completion of high school education or equivalent is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is an asset.
- Building Service Worker Certificate (BC) is desirable.
- Prior experience in commercial building janitorial services is preferred.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Approachable, team-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
