Brunswick Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Staff Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing and auditing business processes to ensure operational and financial activities are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in reviews/audits of business processes to identify areas for improvement
  • Perform and document detail tests of controls utilizing the COSO control framework and International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (The Standards)
  • Provide assistance to external auditors by performing reliance testing and direct assistance work
  • Identify, evaluate, and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and improve efficiency
  • Document audit results in a neat and organized manner consistent with established department standards
  • Aid in preparing audit reports to concisely communicate audit results, recommendations/observations, and management action plans

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
  • 1-2 years of experience in finance and accounting functions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well with colleagues and business contacts of varying abilities and backgrounds
  • Proficient in building productive, collaborative, and beneficial business relationships
