Brunswick Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Staff Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing and auditing business processes to ensure operational and financial activities are running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in reviews/audits of business processes to identify areas for improvement
- Perform and document detail tests of controls utilizing the COSO control framework and International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (The Standards)
- Provide assistance to external auditors by performing reliance testing and direct assistance work
- Identify, evaluate, and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and improve efficiency
- Document audit results in a neat and organized manner consistent with established department standards
- Aid in preparing audit reports to concisely communicate audit results, recommendations/observations, and management action plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
- 1-2 years of experience in finance and accounting functions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well with colleagues and business contacts of varying abilities and backgrounds
- Proficient in building productive, collaborative, and beneficial business relationships
