About the Role

This Veterans Financial Case Manager position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans and their families. As a key member of our SSVF team, you will work closely with veterans to assess their financial and housing needs, identify goals, and develop tailored strategies to achieve them.

You will provide guidance on the application process for VA benefits, social security, and other relevant resources and services. Your expertise in budgeting and financial literacy will empower veterans to take control of their financial well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of veterans' financial and housing situations
  2. Develop and implement personalized case management plans
  3. Facilitate access to VA benefits, social security, and other essential resources
  4. Collaborate with veterans to establish and achieve financial stability goals
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Able to demonstrate passion for supporting veterans and their families
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to write effectively and manage budgets
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Minimum age requirement of 21 years old
  • Ability to obtain SOAR certification within 6 months
