- Assist with surgery, including preparing patients, maintaining asepsis, and monitoring anesthesia.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies.
- Certificate of completion from a NAVTA-approved Veterinary Assistant program, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- One year of related experience, with customer service skills preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a noisy environment.
