Vail Resorts, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our safety and security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the safety and security of the hotel, including responding to guest and employee emergencies and completing incident reports.
- Supervise the security staff in the director's absence, ensuring that all security protocols are followed and that the team is equipped to handle any situation that may arise.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as hospitality and operations, to ensure a seamless and secure guest experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, ensuring that our security protocols are always current and effective.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. criminal justice, security management) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a security or law enforcement role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
