Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team at 347 Group, Inc. in the Los Angeles County area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and track all necessary documents for billing large, high-profile customers
  • Prepare payment requisitions for projects requiring a schedule of value and supporting documentation
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to review billing terms and conditions within contracts
  • Work with the Project Management, Controls, & Operations team to assess progress billing per contract terms
  • Communicate with customers to discuss approved percentages of completion and revise billings accordingly
  • Stay up-to-date with additional billing systems as required by customer contracts
  • Research and resolve discrepancies, making necessary corrections and adjustments
  • Interact with customers to resolve receivable issues, if needed
  • Process invoice credits and re-bills as necessary
  • Proactively contact customers to ensure satisfaction with submitted invoices within 7 days
  • Document significant events and maintain accurate records of corrections

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3-5 years of construction billing experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of L.S., Units, and T&E billing
  • Understanding of job close-out procedures, including obtaining warranty information, release of liens, quality package, as-built sign offs, etc.
