Key Responsibilities- Support the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) Process: Collaborate with our team to ensure the validity and accuracy of all associated documentation, and provide support for remote sites as needed.
- Centralize A&A Files and Documentation: Assist in the centralization of A&A files and documentation, and maintain the integrity of all systems.
- Database Management: Create, update, and delete entries in databases utilized for tracking system and network compliance.
- Security Accreditation: Ensure that all IA systems are properly documented, and maintain the security accreditation status of systems/sites, including the review of current documentation and site architectures.
- Assessment and Authorization Efforts: Participate in all assessment and authorization efforts for systems, networks, and applications, in accordance with DoD and IC requirements.
- Coordination and Support: Provide coordination for assessment metric submissions, and direct support in the development of other A&A related systems bodies of evidence.
- Security Engineering Assessments: Conduct security engineering assessments of proposed IT solutions, and work with internal and external teams to ensure proper configuration and adherence to security standards.
- Security Test and Evaluation: Serve as Security Controls Assessors for formal Security Test and Evaluation, Conduct of Security Certifications of (DoDIIS) systems/networks/sites, assessing security control compliance and providing guidance on remediation and mitigation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Security Policy and Requirements: Provide guidance on the application of security policy, identifying security requirements, and reviewing and determining the adequacy of required documentation.
- Test Reports and Artifacts: Develop all supporting test reports and supporting artifacts, and plan and action of milestones (POA&Ms) documenting open findings, preparation of formal authorization packages, and oversight of the resolution of POA&Ms.
- Assessment and Authorization Enterprise Schedules and Metrics: Develop and maintain assessment and authorization enterprise schedules and metrics.
- Security Assessments at Remote Sites: Perform security assessments at remote sites with collateral (includes, but not limited to, NIPR/SIPR) and/or TS/SCI AIS under the client's purview.
