Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Grandview Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all respiratory procedures in accordance with NBRC, State Regulations, and departmental policies.
  • Recommend and implement appropriate respiratory care procedures and protocols based on observed abnormalities.
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in acute, chronic, and emergency situations, managing mechanical ventilation and artificial airways in critical and general care areas.
  • Collect and analyze arterial blood gases, administer aerosolized medications, and provide other respiratory treatments as needed.
  • Initiate, monitor, and manage patient's oxygen through various devices, including high flow nasal cannula and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation.
  • Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
