Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Three Boys Java LLC. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, managing cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Beverage Preparation
    • Prepare and serve high-quality beverages according to company recipes and standards
    • Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines and grinders
  • Cash Handling
    • Manage cash transactions, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and operating a point-of-sale system
    • Count and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift
  • Store Maintenance
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar and surrounding areas
    • Restock supplies and merchandise as needed

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Previous experience in a coffee shop or customer service role preferred
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
