Job Title: Asset Management Analyst II

At Northmarq, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Management Analyst II to join our Servicing department in Dallas, TX. This role requires a deadline-driven, service-focused, and analytical individual who will be responsible for underwriting borrower consent requests, calculating loan payoffs, and analyzing financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to lenders, borrowers, and internal teams
  • Manage a portfolio of Agency and/or CMBS loans with varying requirements and regulations
  • Underwrite and make recommendations for lender consent of borrower requests
  • Coordinate with legal counsel and borrowers to document and close transactions
  • Analyze annual and quarterly financial statements for multifamily and commercial properties
  • Perform financial covenant testing calculations and review property repair verification inspections
  • Monitor and update monthly loan reports and audit new loan boarding and setup
  • Introduction to training and mentoring across teams on areas of expertise
  • Perform other reasonable tasks/projects as assigned within the department
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, real estate, or accounting
  • 2-5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with background in commercial lending or asset management preferred
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Familiar with commercial real estate finance and commercial loan terminology
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Passionate about customer service and providing exceptional service to all clients
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team, with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Problem-solving skills to reflect the level of responsibilities
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
