Job Summary

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian Nutritionist II to join their clinical nutrition team at UNC Health Johnston Clayton Facility. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nutrition assessments and interventions to patients and their families, as well as educating patients and staff on nutrition-related topics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments, including nutrition support, education, and counseling patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other ancillary staff, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education to patients and staff on nutrition-related topics, including healthy eating habits and disease management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) credentials, with eligibility to register within 120 days of hire.
  • State licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical nutrition, with a focus on patient care and education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
