About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian Nutritionist II to join our clinical nutrition team at UNC Health Johnston Clayton Facility. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in nutrition support, education, and counseling.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments, intervention, and education to patients and their families.
- Work closely with physicians, nursing, occupational, and speech therapists, and other ancillary staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Develop and implement creative solutions to nutrition-related challenges.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Nutrition Manager to ensure effective team performance.
- Master's degree in Nutrition or related field with completion of required coursework and supervised practice.
- Eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- 3-5 years of experience in nutrition support, preferably in a clinical setting.
