Job Title: Busser at Cold Beers

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser to join our team at Cold Beers. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests' satisfaction by maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in our restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and reset tables promptly and efficiently to provide a clean and welcoming dining area for our guests.
  • Assist in dishwashing duties, including sorting, stacking, and ensuring clean dishes, glassware, and utensils are readily available for use.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including floors, counters, and equipment. Regularly sanitize surfaces to meet health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the serving staff to deliver exceptional service by providing support as needed, such as refilling beverages and delivering food orders.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to fulfill guest needs.
  • Offer friendly and attentive service to guests, responding to inquiries, and assisting with any special requests they may have.
  • Develop a good understanding of the menu items and ingredients to provide accurate information and make appropriate recommendations to guests.
  • Assist in stocking supplies, such as napkins, condiments, and utensils, to ensure availability during service hours.
  • Support other team members, including servers and hosts, when necessary to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Keen eye for cleanliness and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting, assisting and supporting colleagues as needed.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evening, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification.
  • Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant POS.
Physical Requirements:
  • Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying trays, and performing tasks that involve bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds.
