We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dining Room Attendant to join our team at Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Clear and reset tables promptly and efficiently to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area.
- Assist in dishwashing duties, including sorting, stacking, and ensuring clean dishes, glassware, and utensils are readily available for use.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including floors, counters, and equipment, and regularly sanitize surfaces to meet health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with serving staff to deliver exceptional service by providing support as needed, such as refilling beverages and delivering food orders.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to fulfill guest needs and create a positive work environment.
- Offer friendly and attentive service to guests, responding to inquiries, and assisting with any special requests they may have.
- Develop a good understanding of menu items and ingredients to provide accurate information and make appropriate recommendations to guests.
- Assist in stocking supplies, such as napkins, condiments, and utensils, to ensure availability during service hours.
- Support other team members, including servers and hosts, when necessary to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting, assisting and supporting colleagues as needed.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.
- Must be at least sixteen years old.
- Previous experience as a Busser or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification.
- Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant POS – Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity.
- Accrual up to 40 hours of PTO.
