Job Overview

Klein DeNatale Goldner is seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our Labor and Employment department. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional support in all aspects of employment law, including wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wage and hour individual and class action claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and management of complex employment law cases, including class action litigation.
  • Conduct research and analysis of employment laws, regulations, and caselaw in Westlaw.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including answers to class action and PAGA complaints, declarations, case management statements, stipulations, and settlement agreements.
  • Organize and coordinate document productions, including bates-stamping, redaction, duplication, and indexing of documents.
  • Manage client documents and maintain organized case files, ensuring compliance with court requirements and deadlines.
  • Provide exceptional communication skills to engage with clients by video conference, email, and phone to gather information, provide updates, and address inquiries.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in employment law.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other software tools for data analysis and document preparation.
  • California paralegal certificate or certification along with a bachelor's degree, emphasizing coursework or experience related to employment law and class action law.
  • Bilingual fluency in English/Spanish is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Anticipated base salary range of $60,000 to $110,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
