The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team at St. James. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents of all ages in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care for residents, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
- Assess residents' physical and psychosocial needs, develop care plans, and implement interventions to promote resident well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and document resident interactions and outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective care delivery and resident safety.
- Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
