Procurement Specialist

About the Role
Pacific World Corporation is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join its Supply Chain team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality products to customers and ensuring the smooth flow of product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with vendors to ensure supply plans are executed effectively.
- Develop and implement vendor performance metrics to drive achievement and ensure clear communication.
- Coordinate domestic and international logistics processes for new product development, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment, and delivery.
- Generate reports and presentations to help management understand logistics perspectives.
- Responsible for creating purchase orders, transfer orders, replacement orders, and work orders in NetSuite and 3PL portal.
- Work with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and resolve receiving and invoicing discrepancies with 3PLs and accounts payable.
- Support sourcing initiatives and track purchase orders, shipments, and resolve order or shipping issues in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of procurement, inventory, logistics, and service levels.
- Generate and communicate metrics, publishing daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics.
- Coordinate with product development and sourcing teams, as well as vendors in Asia and North America, to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
- Assist with analytics-based projects across various supply chain areas and work closely with Order Management/Customer Service, 3PLs, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Product Development/Sourcing teams to improve business efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning/Purchasing, Inventory Control, or Operations roles.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Domestic/International logistics, including FTL and FCL.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with ERP systems.
- Proficient with MS Excel (Vlookup, Pivot, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- NetSuite experience.
- Beauty purchasing experience.
- Customer-obsessed.
