  1. Lead and assist on audit, review, and compilation engagements, providing feedback and reviewing workpapers and financial statements.
  2. Prepare projections and complete complex accounting special projects, conducting research and forming conclusions for review by team members.
  3. Manage engagement timelines, identify roadblocks, and understand critical milestones to meet client service expectations.
  4. Develop an understanding of the client's business and industry, recognizing and resolving client issues and making recommendations.
  5. Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring team members have growth opportunities to advance to the next level.
  6. Stay knowledgeable on Olsen Thielen's service offerings and market the firm's services to existing and prospective clients.
  7. Meet productivity and efficiency standards (billable hours).

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a strong GPA.
  2. At least 3 years of accounting experience.
  3. CPA certification.
  4. Experience in coaching, mentoring, and providing work direction to staff.
  5. Well-rounded knowledge of accounting standards.
  6. Solid working knowledge of audit software programs (Pro Systems fx Engagement, Microsoft Office).
  7. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  8. Demonstrated marketing and business development skills.
