Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Gastroenterology and Hepatology Unit as a PRN RN. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with complex gastrointestinal and hepatic conditions.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients' conditions to healthcare team members.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs, and educate patients and their families on post-discharge care.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- One year of current acute care RN experience, or equivalent military RN experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
