RN - Hepatology and Gastroenterology Specialist

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled RN - Hepatology and Gastroenterology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to patients with complex gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients' conditions to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs to ensure a smooth transition to home or next level of care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- One year of current acute care RN experience, with a focus on gastroenterology and hepatology.
