Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 4 experienced technicians in a laboratory setting
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and FAC accreditation
  • Supervise and coordinate laboratory activities, including marrow processing and cell culture
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory results
  • Collaborate with the Director of BMT Program & Cellular Therapies & Apheresis to develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures
  • Provide training and guidance to technicians on laboratory procedures and protocols
  • Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
  • Develop and implement laboratory budgets and financial plans

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in cellular therapy laboratory management, including 3+ years of experience in a management/administrative role in a healthcare setting
  • Experience in good manufacturing practices (GMP) and laboratory accreditation
  • Supervisory experience and laboratory experience, including understanding of laboratory requirements and regulations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to develop and implement quality control procedures and laboratory policies and procedures
