Job OverviewOur client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician to join their team in Santa Maria, CA. As a Biomedical Equipment Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the proper functioning of medical equipment, allowing healthcare teams to confidently utilize diagnostic tools when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and safety tests on equipment
  • Repair and calibrate medical equipment
  • Provide coverage and support for the CE Lead during their absence
  • Prioritize workload effectively with minimal supervision
  • Complete record keeping for work orders
  • Solve customer service issues and complaints
  • Assist in ordering parts and supplies
  • Perform cross-training with other technicians
  • Effectively communicate with teammates and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience servicing technical equipment
  • Valid Driver's License
  • CBET certification preferred
