Diesel Mechanic Specialist

A highly skilled Diesel Technician III is needed to join our team at FleetPride. As a master of all aspects of Preventative Maintenance, you will be responsible for training and developing other technicians.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform advanced diagnostic operations to diagnose vehicle system failures and suggest accurate system repairs.
- Examine vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunction.
- Train new service shop employees on company procedures regarding vehicle repairs.
- Inspect orders for completion and quality before presentation or delivery to customers.
- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements.
- Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes, suspension systems, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
- Troubleshoot and repair diesel and gasoline engines, fuel tanks, and other complex systems.
- Diesel Technology Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks and 53' trailers.
- Training experience, diagnostic experience, and welding experience.
- Ability to train other technicians, maintain a perfect safety record, and provide excellent customer service.
