Plant Operations Specialist

About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Operations Specialist to join our team at Elliot Health. As a key member of our Facilities Management department, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating all mechanical equipment, systems, and spaces throughout our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspection tasks to ensure optimal asset reliability and performance.
- Respond to system alarms and take corrective actions to maintain plant operations.
- Initiate "First Response" actions during emergency situations in accordance with established department policies and procedures.
- Monitor the activities of after-hour maintenance personnel, contractors, or vendor personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of boiler room and machine room operations, including steam, fuel, and water consumption data.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary school or vocational training preferred.
- A minimum of two-four (2-4) years of experience in plant operations and/or building maintenance required.
- Prior experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
