Job Title: Behavior Direct Support Professional

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to program participants that meets their needs and promotes community integration.
  • Under the supervision of the House Manager, ensure a nurturing, safe, and healthful living environment.
  • Assist participants with daily needs, including personal hygiene, food preparation, and health needs.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Develop and implement Individual Instruction and Support Plans (IISPs) for each participant.
  • Ensure coordination of support meetings and cross-systems crisis plan development.
  • Provide necessary support and supervision of participants.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with other service providers and agency staff.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and car.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand documents in English.
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, or a counseling-related field.
