Counselor III Position

The University Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Counselor III to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide trauma-informed counseling services to individuals, families, and groups, and work closely with our onsite partners to advocate for clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to clients, utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches.
- Conduct psycho-social assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
- Collaborate with onsite partners to address clients' needs, facilitate communication, and provide advocacy resources.
- Participate in staff and multidisciplinary team meetings to present case plans, changes, and referrals.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to relevant laws and ethics.
- Master's degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- Completed training in Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
- Experience working with individuals and children in a social service or educational setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
