Administrative Services Supervisor

We are seeking a seasoned Administrative Services Supervisor to join our front office team. As the primary point of contact for patients and staff, you will create a welcoming environment and ensure seamless interactions.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing our front office team, ensuring high standards of patient care, customer service, and operational efficiency. Your goal will be to maintain accurate patient records, schedule appointments, and supervise staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and Oversee Staff: You will craft schedules, manage payroll, and approve overtime for our front office staff.
  • Supervise Patient Records: You will oversee the creation and management of electronic health records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Update Office Procedures: You will implement improvements to keep office procedures fresh and efficient.
  • Assist with Billing: You will provide support with insurance authorizations and medical billing.
  • Maintain Provider Schedules: You will ensure providers' schedules are managed effectively.
  • Ensure Compliance: You will uphold HIPAA regulations and internal policies.
  • Receptionist Duties: You will assist with front desk tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in a medical office, preferably in a supervisory role, is essential. EMR (Electronic Medical Records) expertise is required.
  • Skills: Familiarity with medical terminology, basic computer skills, and strong organizational abilities are must-haves.
