Job Summary

By Light is seeking a Supply Technician to support our operations at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining a sufficient stock of supplies, determining the source of supply, and ensuring adequate materials are available to support day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a sufficient stock of supplies to support technical operations.
  • Determine the source of supply using quotes or bids from multiple vendors.
  • Ensure adequate materials are available to support day-to-day operations.
  • Manage and maintain the Government cable yard to store spare copper cable and fiber cable.
  • Establish an audit trail accounting for the usage of parts.
  • Provide a monthly Parts Usage Report.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate's degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Residential Qualification (On-the-Job) – Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSSA).
  • Minimum of two years' experience supporting supply/warehouse operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting the Army or other DoD Agency.
  • Effective communication skills to interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
