Adjunct Faculty

We are seeking highly qualified Adjunct Faculty members to teach individual courses in the following areas:
Course Descriptions:- Business Statistics: This course introduces students to the strategic value of data and statistical analysis within the context of real-world business problems. Students learn the value of statistical information in making informed judgments and business process improvements.
- Data Analytics: This course focuses on the fundamental principles and techniques of data science and data mining, examining real-world examples and cases to develop data-analytic thinking.
- Operations Management: This course surveys operating practices and models in both manufacturing and service-oriented firms, covering topics such as facility design, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
- Supply Chain Management: This course deals with the management of the direct value-adding activities across all firms contributing to the creation, manufacturing, and delivery of a product.
- Management Science: This course applies management science techniques to problem-solving and decision-making in all areas of management, using tools such as linear programming and decision trees.
- Software Applications for Business: This course covers advanced skills training in Microsoft Excel and selected topics in Microsoft Access, including database design and SQL queries.
- Advanced Data Analytics: This course expands on topics covered in the introductory data analytics class, focusing on database data extraction, data cleaning, and advanced data analytics methods.
Candidates must hold an earned graduate or terminal degree from a regionally accredited university in a relevant discipline, with 18 completed semester hours of related graduate coursework or an MBA and related professional experience. Official transcripts will be required at the time of hire.
Departmental Information:The Luter School of Business at CNU is composed of 24 faculty and offers four majors (Accounting, Finance, Management, and Marketing). The business program offers opportunities for internships, executive mentorships, international experiences, volunteer work, and research collaboration with faculty.
