Automated 3D Scanner Operator

Job Summary

Quad is seeking a highly skilled 3D Scanning Specialist/Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for high-volume production using our automated 3D scanner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately place products onto the scanning pedestal.
  • Capture all required poses of the product.
  • Troubleshoot the scanner and associated software as needed.
  • Maintain a production log tracking completed scans and time spent.
  • Work directly with the Merchandise Coordinator to sort "ready to scan" products and products that have been scanned and accepted by the client.
  • Review completed scans with the Digital Tech.
  • Notify the Project Manager when completed scans are ready for client acceptance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, an Associate's degree is preferred.
  • Entry-level experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows/PC computer platform/software.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software - specifically Outlook, Word, & Excel.
  • General understanding of still photography principles, equipment, and lighting techniques.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and team player.
