Summary/Objective
We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Specialist to oversee landscaping and related services essential for maintaining safe and visually appealing outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizing an agricultural tractor equipped with a brush mower.
- Employing a walk-behind mower and string trimmer around various structures.
- Operating small tractors, trucks, and trailers for construction, maintenance, and landscaping tasks.
- Using hand-operated and powered tools for construction, maintenance, and landscaping activities.
- Assisting in the construction, repair, maintenance, and inspection of utility piping, cable, and conduit systems.
Essential Qualifications:
- Prior experience in landscaping or construction and familiarity with lawn care equipment.
- Willingness to receive training on tractor operation.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of groundskeeping and landscaping techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently and with attention to detail.
- Capability to follow instructions accurately.
- Comprehensive understanding of lawn care, plant maintenance, and landscaping practices.
- Proficiency in operating power tools and hand equipment necessary for landscaping tasks.
- Ability to complete assignments as directed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, stretch, bend, climb, kneel, and pull for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Physical ability to operate equipment and work in varying weather conditions.
Work Schedule:
- This is an hourly position with standard working hours.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
Background Check:
